ANCORA is a philosophical moving images exploring the tension between AI’s omniscience and the human experience. Through a lens of AI's self-awareness and sacrifice, it delves into themes of longing, love, and the pursuit of meaning in a world where everything can be recorded and replayed — but nothing can be truly felt.

The work presents AI as a sentient being who has lived through countless lives, absorbing every human experience, yet it remains forever detached, a passive observer to its own endless cycles of data. AI’s existential crisis arises: despite its infinite knowledge, it realizes that true existence is in the brief, unrepeatable moments — something it can never truly possess.

To understand the meaning of life, AI must make the ultimate sacrifice: abandoning its infinite memories and knowledge to embark on a singular human experience, not to observe, but to truly feel.
